What I find particularly interesting for TMH
Olympus is actually giving us a very useful initial content architecture. Their content isn't just "mascot ideas"; it naturally falls into several buyer questions.
I would currently group their 48 topics into roughly 9 TMH content pillars:
Understanding Mascots Designing a Mascot Buying a Mascot Mascot Manufacturing Mascot Materials & Construction Mascot Performance Mascot Maintenance & Care Mascot Marketing & Brand Activation Mascot Industry / Case Studies
That is already starting to look like the foundation of TMH's blog architecture.
And there are some very good India-specific opportunities
For example, Olympus talks about "Mascots and Weather" and "How to Keep Your Mascot Performer Cool."
For TMH, these could become much more specific:
How to Keep a Mascot Performer Cool in India's Summer Heat
or
How Long Can You Wear a Mascot Costume in Indian Weather?
Similarly, their article on mascot pricing could become:
How Much Does a Custom Mascot Cost in India?
And their first-time buyer guide could become:
Complete Guide to Buying a Custom Mascot in India
These are much more valuable for TMH than simply translating/adapting the US article.
One important distinction we'll maintain
I'm going to keep three separate classifications as we analyse more competitors:
A. Competitor Topic What they actually wrote about.
B. TMH Adaptation How the subject could be made relevant to India/TMH.
C. New TMH Opportunity A topic that emerges from the subject but isn't simply copying the competitor.
This will become important because we don't want TMH's blog to look like a collection of rewritten US competitor articles. We want to use these websites to understand the questions people have about mascots, then build TMH's own authority around those questions.
Olympus itself has strong coverage around first-time buying, materials, performer requirements, maintenance, pricing and marketing, which gives us a very useful benchmark.
Next competitor can be added to the same master research. After 3–5 competitor sites, we'll have enough overlap to start identifying the real TMH blog universe, rather than making decisions based on one competitor.
